Heavenly
Father, you willed your love and mercy to be shown to the whole world, Hear our
prayers we bring before you today
We pray
for our pope, our bishop and all our clergy that they share in your desire to draw all to yourself.
We pray
for our government officials that their
laws and policies will preserve and promote human dignity
We pray
for peace in our world for those who suffer war in the Ukraine, the Holy Land
and all troubled areas in our country.
Look with mercy on
all those among us who are suffering, particularly the sick, the poor and those
who lack dignified employment.
Gather
those who have died into your loving arms and bring them new life. Grant consolation and peace to those who love
them here on earth.
Provide
strength, wisdom, grace and joy to our priests, let them be reminders of your
love in our world, and that our young people may see and follow their example
into holy vocations
